Roundtable lunch talks office design

The Architectural Review/Protek round table at MIPIM saw a range of design luminaries’ debate changes in the design of office buildings. Questions posed included: What are the drivers for change? How to create more energy efficient buildings, and will landlords take responsibility for energy systems? Will costs rise?

Paul Finch, editor of the Architectural Review magazine chaired the debate, and summarised the views of those around the table: “Increasingly the interest in low energy office development is manifesting itself in the way architects think, not just about the building, but how it will be used in years to come”.
