NASDAQ OMX Project
Stockholm, Sweden
The OMX refurbishment was one of Stockholm's most exciting building projects. An
old car factory, known as the Ford Building, in the central Stockholm docks area
was refurbished to provide OMX with an office of 35,000 m2 and 1,300 work stations.
Protek's agent in Stockholm, Flexible Office in Scandinavia, will supply the flexible
office system, including raised floor, electrical power tracks and air conditioning
for this project.
The Protek design for this project includes:
- New range of powerful pre fabricated AHU's which only need connecting to services
such as power, cooling and heating systems on site.
- BMS for air conditioning based on room sensors monitoring a) concrete structure,
b) CO2, c) outside temperature, d) room temperature.
- Power distribution horizontally in specially designed Canalis track system, which
makes for a compact, space saving installation.
- Raised floor, for distribution of all services under the floor, including air conditioning,
electrical bus bar system, (lots of) data cabling, etc.
The project includes many other interesting aspects of building practice.
