Hyundai Capital Staff Cafe

Hyundai Capital in downtown Seoul provides a cafe/bar solely for the use of its staff during their breaks and before and after work. This is housed in a glass structure and, in the summer, the glass doors can be opened to provide outdoor facilities as well.

Protek designed a special air conditioning / fresh air unit for this cafe. The client's brief was to provide an underfloor air conditioning system to provide heating during the winter and cooling in the summer, taking into account the glass structure. In addition, there needed to be good filtration and fresh air to remove smoke from the interior of the cafe.
